Will my favourite game work?

The emulator is still a work in progress and not all games have been tested, but you can check our Github Compatiblity List. The compatibility list might not always be up-to-date though, so why don't you try it out!

Why do Miis have a photo of a panda on them?

The miis have a photo of a panda on them because it's a placeholder until dumping mii files from your 3DS and using them are implemented, and the emulator is panda-themed

How do I adjust my settings?

We're still working on a config menu, so to change your settings, you need to edit the config.toml file with a text editor like Notepad

How can I make the emulator saves and data portable?

Change the usePortableBuild option as described above

Is there audio support?

Panda3DS support for audio is a new and experimental feature. The emulator features an LLE backend for audio, which is accurate to the console but slow and off by default. HLE audio is currently being implemented which will be a lot faster and enjoyable. To enable experimental support, change the following settings:

• Set "EnableAudio" to true
• Set "EnableVsync" to false
• Set "DSPEmulation" to "lle" or "hle"

Is there an Android version?

Yes, Pandroid, however it's still early in development so compatibility or performance may vary from what you get on desktop.

What license does Panda3DS use?

The emulator itself is licensed under the GPLv3 License, and the website is under the MIT License.
